Ren Narita & Shota Umino vs. Yota Tsuji & Yuya Uemura – Umino delivered a sliding dropkick and followed with a neckbreaker but Tsuji kicked out. Tsuji delivered a powerslam to Umino. Uemura delivered a running shoulder tackle. Narita delivered palm strikes and then placed Uemura in the Boston Crab. The crowd got into this as Uemura refused to quit but Narita pulled him back into the middle and got the submission win.

(Amin’s Analysis: This was a fun match as everyone worked hard and looked solid)
Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi vs. EVIL, SANADA & BUSHI – Fale chocked EVIL with a microphone cord. Fale delivered a diving elbowbut EVIL kicked out. SANADA placed both Owens and Yujiro in the Paradise Lock. SANADA delivered a hurricanrana to Yujiro as BUSHI followed with a missile dropkick. BUSHI and SANDA delivered a stereo dropkick to Yujiro but Owens and Fale broke the count. Owens delivered a Shining Wizard as Yujiro followed with a Fisherman’s Buster but BUSHI kicked out. Yujiro delivered the Pimp Juice DDT for the win.

(Amin’s Analysis: This was a fun match as everyone worked looked solid)
KENTA, Clark Connors & Karl Fredericks vs. Kota Ibushi, Toa Henare & Tomoaki Honma – KENTA delivered knee drops and then mocked Honma. Honma blocked PK and delivered a flying Kokeshi. Ibushi delivered quick strikes and followed with a standing moonsault but KENTA kicked out. There was a great sequence as Ibushi and KENTA exchanged high kicks. Fredericks delivered a dropkick to Henare. Connors and Fredericks delivered the Super Combo to Henare for a near fall. Henare delivered a Bicycle Kick to Fredericks and a Samoan Drop to Connors. Henare delivered a Rugby Tackle to Fredericks but KENTA broke the count. Henare delivered the Toa Bottom to Fredericks for the win.

(Amin’s Analysis: This was a fun match as everyone looked solid)
IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, Hiroshi Tanahashi & YOSHI-HASHI vs. Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer, Zack Sabre Jr. & Yoshinobu Kanemaru – YOSHI delivered a sliding dropkick as Ospreay followed with a standing Shooting Star Press but Kanemura kicked out. Suzuki whacked YOSHI with a chair. Archer delivered a Uranage Slam to YOSHI but Tanahashi made the save. Okada delivered a Shining Wizard to Archer and a flapjack to Kanemaru. Okada delivered a DDT to Archer for a near fall. Archer delivered the Pounce to Okada. Archer went for a double Chokeslam but Okada and Ospreay delivered a double dropkick. Archer delivered a running crossbody to both Okada and Ospreay. Tanahashi blocked an overhead kick and delivered a Dragon Screw to Sabre. Sabre applied a Triangle but Tanahashi placed his foot on the ropes. Sabre delivered a PK but Ospreay made the save. Sabre and Suzuki delivered a double PK to Tanahashi but Okada made the save. Suzuki placed Okada in a Rear-Naked Choke. The finish was great as Sabre applied a double wrist lock but Tanahashi countered into a rollup for the win.
- WINNERS: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay & YOSHI-HASHI (⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2)
(Amin’s Analysis: The crowd was buzzing as this was a very fun match as everyone worked very hard and the finish was well done)
G1 Climax B Block Match: Jeff Cobb vs. Toru Yano – Yano hide five pairs of tape inside in pants. Yano applied a rollup for a near fall. Cobb delivered an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and followed with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Cobb delivered a Superkick and followed with Tour of the Islands for the win.
- WINNER: Jeff Cobb (⭐️)
(Amin’s Analysis: This was short as both Cobb and Yano were get in their roles)
G1 Climax B Block Match: NEVER Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii vs. Taichi (w/Miho Abe) – Taichi delivered an Axe Bomber and followed with a backdrop suplex for a near fall. Taichi delivered a big boot but Ishiii responded with a powerslam. Ishii delivered a release German suplex. Ishii delivered a stalling Superplex but Taichi kicked out. Ishii delivered a sliding lariat but Taichi kicked out. Taichi delivered a Buzzsaw Kick and followed with an Axe Bomber but Ishii kicked out. Taichi delivered a Last Ride Powerbomb but Ishii kicked out. Ishii delivered a head butt and followed with a running clothesline but Taichi kicked out. Taichi delivered a pair of Hook Kick and followed with a jumping enzuigiri. Ishii deliveredbackdrop suplex but Ishii kicked out. Taichi delivered a Superkick and followed with Black Mafisho for the win.
- WINNER: Taichi (⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/4)
(Amin’s Analysis: This was excellent as the crowd was super hot as Ishii was great as he brought out the the best in Taichi who put out his best performance in the G-1)
G1 Climax B Block Match: IWGP US Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley vs. Juice Robinson – Juice and Moxley exchanged forearm strikes. Moxley worked over Juice’s leg. Moxley applied a Figure-4-Leg Lock but Juice reversed the hold. Moxley blocked the Juice Box and applied a Texas Cloverleaf but Juice broke free by biting his ear. Juice delivered a flapjack and followed with a running cannonball in the corner. Juice delivered a flying crossbody but Moxley rolled through and delivered a chop block. Moxley pulled out a table as Juice delivered a plancha. Moxley went to whack Juice with a chair but moved and delivered a running cannonball from the ring apron to the floor. Juice delivered a flying crossbody for a near fall. Juice and Moxley exchanged jabs. Moxley countered Pulp Fiction and applied a Knee Bar but Juice grabbed the ropes. Moxley applied an STF, thought he had the match won but released the hold. Moxley delivered a Regal Knee and followed with an X-Plex. Moxley tossed weapons into the ring. Moxley went to set up a table but Juice applied a rollup for a near fall. Juice delivered a pair of left-handed jabs and followed with Pulp Fiction for the win.
- WINNER: Juice Robinson (⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2)
(Amin’s Analysis: Not as good as the BOSJ Finals meeting but this was still a good match as the crowd was hot as both Juice and Moxley looked very solid)
G1 Climax 29 B Block Match: Hirooki Goto vs. Shingo Takagi – Shingo delivered a back senton for a near fall. Goto delivered a hangman neckbreaker for a near fall. Goto applied a head scissors but Shingo placed his foot on the ropes. Shingo delivered a backdrop suplex. Goto delivered a running wheel kick and followed with a backdrop suplex. Goto applied a sleeper but Shingo broke free and delivered a sliding lariat. Shingo delivered Noshigomi but Goto kicked out. Goto delivered a pair of clotheslines and followed with Ushigorishi but Shingo kicked out. Goto delivered mid kicks for a near fall. Shingo countered an Ushigorishi and delivered Made in Japan but Goto kicked out for a close near fall. Shingo delivered combination elbow smashes. Goto delivered a reverse GTR but Shingo responded with a lariat. Shingo delivered Pumping Bomber but Goto kicked out. Shingo delivered Last of the Dragon for the win.
- WINNER: Shingo Takagi (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
(Amin’s Analysis: The crowd was buzzing throughout as this was great as both Cobb and Shingo worked really hard as there some great sequences leading to the closing moments of the match)
G1 Climax 29 B Block Final Match: IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito vs. Jay White (w/Gedo) – This match was going long as both Naito and White took their sweet time before the match started. Naito delivered strikes but White responded with chops. White dropped Naito on the ring apron and rammed him into the guardrail. White delivered a DDT for a near fall. Naito delivered a running boot and followed with a hurricanrana. Naito delivered a slingshot dropkick in the corner. Naito delivered a pair of neck breakers for a near fall. Naito applied a reverse head scissors but White placed his foot on the ropes. White delivered flatliner and followed with a release German suplex. White blocked a flying forearm and delivered a Uranage Slam. White went for the Kiwi Crusher but Naito countered by delivering a Jumping DDT. Naito went for Gloria but White showed Red Shoes into him as Gedo entered the ring. Gedo went to attack him with the Brass Knuckles but Naito kicked him in the balls. Naito delivered Gloria but White kicked out. Naito delivered a Koppo Kick and followed with a Tornado DDT. White delivered a pair of Saido Suplex and followed with Kiwi Crusher but Naito kicked out. White went for Blade Runner but Naito countered by delivering a sloppy reverse hurricanana. Naito delivered Destino but White kicked out. Naito went for a second Destino but White countered by delivering a Sleeper Suplex. There was a great counter of exchanges ending with White delivering a Sleeper Suplex. White delivered a Bloody Sunday DDT and followed with Blade Runner for the win.
[Post Match] White cut a promo after and then called Ibushi out. White offered a handshake as Ibushi accepted. White went for a low blow but Ibushi moved. Ibushi went to leave the ring but Gedo held his leg. White attacked Ibushi’s leg with a chair.
- WINNER: Jay White (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2)
(Amin’s Analysis: It started slow but this turned into a terrific match as there were some awesome sequences leading into the finish as both Naito and White worked hard)
