Carmella, Dana Brooke, Ember Moon, Mandy Rose, Natalya & Nikki Cross to win the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Nikki delivered an airplane spin as she pinned everyone with a ladder. Moon delivered an electric chair to Nikki on a ladder. Nikki delivered a Discus Clothesline to Carmella. Rose kicked away at Carmella who was selling a leg injury and was helped to the back. Dana delivered a handspring elbow to Moon into a ladder. Bayley delivered a Sunset Flip Bomb sending Dana into a ladder. Natalya and Rose sandwiched Bayley in-between a ladder. Naomi delivered a split-legged moonsault to Bayley on a ladder. Nikki delivered a hangman spinning neck breaker to Moon. Dana and Rose brawled on top of the ladder. Natalya shoved everyone off a ladder. There was a cool spot as Moon climbed up a ladder on the floor and delivered the Eclipse to Natalya inside the ring. Rose delivered a Butterfly Gourbuster to Moon onto a ladder. Carmella returned and rammed Rose into a ladder. Sonya Deville entered the ring, yanked Carmella off the ladder and gave her a spear. Deville lifted Rose on her shoulder and carried her up the ladder. Bayley climbed the opposite side and knocked Deville and Rose off the ladder. Bayley grabbed the briefcase and won the match which got a big reaction. ☆☆☆ 2/4
(Amin’s Analysis: There was some sloppy spots but this was a good match as everyone worked hard. Ember Moon Eclipse was the highlight and I liked the finish and Bayley winning)
–Triple H was on the phone as Sami Zayn appeared and explained he wanted some protection because Braun Strowman is upset with him. HHH noted that Strowman was banned from the building and if Zayn wants protection he should tape his fists.
Rey Mysterio def. Samoa Joe to win the WWE United States Title – Joe delivered strikes in the corner. Mysterio delivered an enzuigiri and then followed with a springboard seated senton as Joe was bleeding from the nose. Joe went for a Powerbomb but Mysterio countered into a hurricanrana and then transitioned into a rollup and got the win. DUD
–After the match, Dominque came out to celebrate with Mysterio. Joe retuned and plowed over Mysterio. Joe delivered a pair of uranange’s and a back senton to Mysterio.
(Amin’s Analysis: This was interesting to watch as Joe’s shoulder was off the mat while the referee was making the count. This also could be setting up a match with Dominque)
Shane McMahon def. The Miz in a Steel Cage Match – Shane tried to escape but Miz stopped him and delivered ground and pound. Shane delivered knee strikes and then rammed Miz into the cage. Shane went for the Coast-to-Coast dropkick but Miz countered by applying a Figure-4-Leg lock. Shane asked for the cage door to open and then grabbed a chair. Miz whacked Shane with a chair. Miz delivered a Skull Crushing Finale on a chair but Shane grabbed the ropes. (The announcers noted there’s No DQ’s in a cage match. Are they’re rope breaks in a cage match? That shouldn’t be allowed either in a No DQ match) The crowd was irate that the referee stopped his count. Miz attempted a Super Skull Crushing Finale but Shane yanked him to the mat. Shane tried to climb the cage but Miz whacked his leg with a chair. Miz yanked Shane off the cage and delivered a hideous looking Frog Splash but Shane kicked out. Miz catapult Shane who climbed the cage. Miz teased a Superplex but Shane fell to the floor and won the match. ☆☆
(Amin’s Analysis: Miz and Shane tried but this was not a good match as there were a lot of sloppy spots and went too long)
Tony Nese def. Ariya Daivari to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title – Daivari applied a reverse Boston Crab but Nese rolled through. Nese delivered a spinning wheel kick and then followed with a springboard moonsault but Daivari kicked out. Daivari delivered a reverse DDT for a near fall. Nese delivered a reverse sit-out driver for a near fall. Daivari went for a Hammerlock Clothesline but Nese countered by applying an inside cradle for a near fall. Nese delivered a Space Tiger Drop and then followed with a 450 Splash but Daivari kicked out. Daivari delivered a Frog Splash and then delivered a Hammerlock Clothesline but Nese kicked out. Nese delivered a top rope Frankenstiner and then delivered a running knee into the turnbuckle for the win. ☆☆ 2/4
(Amin’s Analysis: This was a basic professional wrestling match)
–Sami Zayn was shown hanging upside down as HHH confronted Strowman. Strowman noted he didn’t attacked Zayn. HHH said he didn’t want to hear it and told Strowman to leave the building. Strowman responded by saying “Whatever man” and left.
Becky Lynch def. Lacey Evans via Submission to retain the RAW Women’s Title – Becky delivered a basement dropkick to Evans. Becky tossed Evans into the barricade. Evans blocked a springboard kick and yanked Becky down by her arm. Evans delivered a reverse DDT for a near fall. Evans delivered a leg sweep and then delivered a Slingshot Elbow but Becky kicked out. Evans delivered a neck breaker and a standing moonsault for a near fall. Becky delivered dropkick and then followed with a flying punch from the ring apron to Evans on the floor. Evans delivered a springboard cutter and then delivered a jumping knee but Becky kicked out. Evans delivered a chop block and then applied an inside cradle. (I guess the referee didn’t see Becky’s shoulder down so he didn’t make a count) Becky applied a Dis-Arm-Her as Evans tapped. ☆☆ 1/4
(Amin’s Analysis: The match started good but fell apart in the end as the commentators ripped the referee for not making the count. Becky is one of my favourite and one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE. Lacey worked hard but she’s not ready for this level of match)
Charlotte Flair def. Becky Lynch to win the SmackDown Women’s Title – Charlotte delivered shoulder tackles to Bayley in the corner. Becky yanked Charlotte off the turnbuckle. Charlotte applied a Boston Crab but Becky grabbed the ropes. Becky and Charlotte exchanged forearm strikes. Becky avoided a boot and delivered a flying forearm. Charlotte went for Natural Selection from the ring apron but Becky held onto the ropes as Charlotte fell to the floor. Lacey Evans rans down and delivered the Women’s Right to Becky. Charlotte charged but Becky applied an inside cradle for a close near fall. Charlotte delivered a big boot, pinned Becky and got the win. ☆☆ 2/4
–Becky attacked Evans after the match. Charlotte and Evans attacked Becky as the crowd chanted for Bayley. Bayley ran down and delivered a Saito suplex to Evans. Bayley moved as Charlotte charged and ran into the turnbuckle.
Bayley def. Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Title – Bayley cashed in her Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase which got a big reaction. Bayley delivered a diving elbow drop, pinning Charlotte and won the SmackDown Women’s Title which got a huge reaction. ☆
(Amin’s Analysis: Becky and Charlotte worked hard, had a fine match with a flat finish. Looks like the Becky and Evans feud will continue on RAW. The post-match angle and Bayley winning the SmackDown Women’s Title was terrific as WWE made her into a huge superstar in one night)
Roman Reigns def. Elias – Reigns was shown walking backstage as Elias appeared and whacked him with a guitar. Elias came out and did his usual weekly concert and then started to leave. Reigns appeared on the entrance ramp and delivered a Superman Punch. Reigns tossed Elias into the ring, delivered a Spear for the win. ☆
(Amin’s Analysis: This was perfect as Elias had his concert and more importantly Reigns looked great in the win)
Seth Rollins def. A.J. Styles to retain the WWE Universal Title – Styles delivered a head scissors. Rollins delivered a knee drop for a near fall. Styles delivered a dropkick and a backbreaker. Rollins countered a clothesline and sent Styles into the turnbuckle. Styles teased a Styles Clash from the ring apron but Rollins blocked. Styles delivered a sliding knee from the ring apron. Rollins delivered back-to-back topes sending Styles into the announcers table. Rollins delivered a Slingblade and then delivered a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Rollins delivered quick kicks. Rollins went for his Rainmaker Knee but Styles countered by delivering an Ushigorishi. Rollins delivered a Buckle Bomb and then delivered a great looking Frog Splash but Styles kicked out. They battled on the turnbuckle as Styles delivered strikes. Styles delivered a German suplex, went for a reverse face buster but Rollins countered into a sunset flip for a near fall. Styles delivered a Torture Rack Bomb for a near fall. Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm but Rollins draped him on the top rope. Rollins delivered a combination top rope reverse suplex/reverse Falcon Arrow but Styles kicked out. Rollins delivered a Superkick went for The Stomp but Styles countered by applying a Calf Crusher. Rollins broke free by kicking away at Styles. Styles delivered a middle rope reverse DDT but Rollins kicked out. Styles charged but Rollins caught him with a Superkick. Rollins and Styles exchanged forearm strikes. Rollins avoided a Pele Kick and delivered a Superkick to Styles. Rollins went for The Stomp but Styles countered by catching him and delivered a great looking Styles Clash but Rollins kicked out for an awesome near fall. Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm but Rollins countered by delivering a Rainmaker Knee. Rollins delivered a Superkick and followed with The Stomp for the win. ☆☆☆☆ 2/4
(Amin’s Analysis: This was excellent and the best WWE (not including NXT) match of the year. Rollins and Styles are awesome wrestlers and worked really hard. There were some great counters, transitions and the finishing sequence was well done)
–Lucha House Party came out for a six-man tag team match but instead Lars Sullivan came out and gave Lince Dorardo the Freak Accident on the floor. Sullivan tossed Gran Metallic on the floor. Sullivan was bleeding from the head after he gave Kalisto a head butt. Sullivan delivered a running sit-out Powerbomb to Kalisto.
Kofi Kingston def. Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Championship – Kofi and Owens exchanged strikes as the match began. Kofi leaped off the ring steps and delivered a flying clothesline to Owens. Kofi delivered a flying reverse axe handle smash to Owens on the floor. Owens delivered a Superkick and a back senton for a near fall. Owens delivered a Frog Splash from the ring apron to Kofi on the floor. Kofi countered a Powerbomb and backdropped Owens into the turnbuckle. Kofi delivered a dropkick and a Boom Drop. Owens applied a Boston Crab but Kofi grabbed the ropes. They battled on the ring apron as Kofi delivered a double stomp. Kofi went for a flying corkscrew clothesline but Owens countered by delivering a Superkick for a near fall. They countered each other’s signature spots as Kofi delivered the S.O.S but Owens kicked out. Owens countered the Trouble in Paradise, applied a Boston Crab but Kofi grabbed the ropes. Owens delivered a sit-out Popup Powerbomb but Kofi kicked out. Kofi countered the Stone Cold Stunner and delivered the Trouble in Paradise but Owens rolled to the floor. Owens delivered a Stone Cold Stunner but Kofi grabbed the ropes. Owens threw Kofi’s shoe away. Owens went for the Swanton Bomb but Kofi countered by getting his knees up. Kofi delivered the Trouble in Paradise for the win. ☆☆☆ 2/4
(Amin’s Analysis: Kofi and Owens are great wrestler and worked hard. This was a very good professional wrestling match but it didn’t reach the peak of a huge WWE Championship calibre level of match)
Brock Lesnar def. Ali, Andrade, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Randy Orton & Ricochet to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Ricochet delivered a leaping flip dive to Andrade and McIntyre on the floor. Orton backdropped Ali, Balor and Ricochet on the announcers tables. Andrade delivered a spinning back elbow to Orton. Corbin and McIntyre attacked Andrade and Orton with a ladder. Ricochet delivered a Codebreaker to McIntyre. Ali delivered a rolling X-Factor to Corbin and a tope to McIntyre. Ali and Ricochet exchanged strikes on the ladder. Corbin tossed Ali onto a ladder. McIntyre delivered an overhead belly-to-belly suplex sending Ricochet onto a ladder. Orton delivered a draping DDT to Corbin. Corbin countered an RKO as McIntyre gave Orton a Claymore Kick. Balor delivered a Slingblade to Corbin and a Woo dropkick sending McIntyre into a ladder in the corner. Balor delivered a double stomp to Corbin onto a ladder. Andrade and Balor exchanged strikes on top of the ladder. There was a Crazy spot as Andrade leaped off a ladder and delivered a Sunset Flip Powerbomb to Balor onto another ladder. Ali delivered a tornado DDT to Corbin and a reverse hurricanrana to Ricochet. There was another crazy spot as Ali delivered a Spanish Fly off the ladder to Andrade. Ali delivered a Superkick to McIntyre. Corbin choke slammed Ali through the announcers table. Corbin choke slammed Balor onto a ladder. Ricochet went for a tope but Corbin countered by delivering a Deep Six on the floor. McIntyre delivered a Claymore Kick to Corbin on the floor. McIntyre suplex Balor onto a ladder. McIntyre delivered a reverse Alambama Slam to Andrade onto Balor onto a ladder. Ricochet delivered a springboard lariat to McIntyre. McIntyre tossed Ricochet over the top rope sending Ricochet crashing through a ladder on the floor. Orton yanked McInyre off the ladder and delivered an RKO. Corbin rammed Orton into the ring post. Corbin tried to grab the briefcase but Ali stopped him. Ali delivered a head scissors sending Corbin to the floor. Ali was about to grab the briefcase but Brock Lesnar’s music played. Lesnar sprinted down to the ring and shoved a ladder out of the way. Lesnar yanked Ali off the ladder and sent him to the floor. Lesnar climbed the ladder and won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. ☆☆☆☆ 1/4
(Amin’s Analysis: This was a terrific match as everyone worked really hard. There were so awesome yet very scary spots in the match. I liked the surprise of Lesnar as it was unexpected and a creative way to bring him back on WWE TV)
